Hi James, If you are using custom columns for reports via the AdWords UI then I'm afraid that this is currently not supported in the AdWords API. You may follow our blog <http://googleadsdeveloper.blogspot.com/search/label/adwords_api> for any updates if and when this feature can be available in the AdWords API.
