Hi Simran, There is no specific difference on the two that I am aware of since TargetingIdeaService <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/targeting-idea-service> is offered to achieve similar goals as the Keyword Planner has. However, there are some instances that the results in TargetingIdeaService is different from the results of Keyword Planner which is due to the TargetingIdeaSelector <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201605/TargetingIdeaService.TargetingIdeaSelector> configuration as discussed here <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/targeting-idea-service#mapping_to_the_keyword_planner> .
