Hi, There is now an upgrade tool available -- please see the related blog post from earlier this week <http://adwords.blogspot.ch/2014/08/new-shopping-campaigns-upgrade-tool.html>. Hopefully the tool will make it easier to upgrade some of those large campaigns without using the API (and thereby avoid rate limit issues).
