Hi, The complete list of available reports is on our Report Types page <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/appendix/reports>, and there's often a logical mapping between reports and types, e.g., Ad Group Performance Report is for Ad Group level information, Campaign Performance Report is for Campaign level information, etc.
Regarding the best download format, I haven't heard of any issues with a particular format, but certainly the non-XML formats would result in less data being sent over the wire. You could use GZIPPED_CSV <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/appendix/reports> if you want the smallest response possible.
