Hi, One significant advantage of separating reporting/stats requests from the other service requests is that reporting requests do not count towards your daily operations limit (see the Rate Sheet guide <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/ratesheet> for more details). Also, reporting responses are considerably more lightweight than SOAP XML responses, and given the large volume of data often returned by reporting requests this can provide a significant performance advantage.
Regarding your goal of saving the data in a database, we actually have an open source project on GitHub precisely for that purpose: https://github.com/googleads/aw-reporting Cheers, Josh, AdWords API Team On Friday, June 20, 2014 1:11:01 AM UTC-7, thanasis parras wrote: > > Can someone explain to me why this change occured and now the only option > is to get a huge string through the reporting service instead of getting > the objects and do with them whatever you want!?
