I applied for MCC, got a test account, but when I tried to access it with code, it gave me an error "INCOMPLETE SIGNUP". then I looked into the ads.properties and got even more bewildered.
here is my current understanding: on the top level, I have an MCC account, let's say it's called fat...@x.com, with customerId = 111111 , and password = 000000. I understand that this MCC account can't be used to create campaigns or ads etc, but is only useful for creating and managing child accounts, right? then I enabled API access for this MCC, got a developer token 1234567890; then I created an account using MCC UI. the account is called "son_account" , with customerId = 222222, this does not need password. I applied for "son_account" to be turned into test account in the form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1ERbljbb88ceyqU1gw2zN0KNI8Ltu5ASwo17M0wp0Ztg/viewform?id=1ERbljbb88ceyqU1gw2zN0KNI8Ltu5ASwo17M0wp0Ztg I got the email confirmation saying that the test account is enabled. now I set the ads.properties like the following: api.adwords.email=fat...@x.com api.adwords.password=000000 api.adwords.clientCustomerId=222222 api.adwords.developerToken=1234567890 but I got the incomplete_signup error above. should I set the clientCustomerId to that of the MCC account fat...@x.com or that of "son_account"?
