Hello Paul, 1) Basically, there are two ways of querying reports. AdHoc reports<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/reporting> and AWQL <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/awql>.
In AdHoc reports, you should query reports using report definition xml In AWQL, you should query reports using AWQL String. Both of them have examples.
