Hi Oliver,
  For #1, I believe this is primarily used to obtain structure data with 
the KeywordsPerformanceReport (i.e. get a list of negative keywords in 
adgroups).  For #2, I believe this is the ID of the keyword the search 
query caused to trigger a given impression.
