I am trying to create a sandbox account associated with a business account with API access. However, the readme and instructions on-line all seem to give false information. This is what I have tried:
1) README instructions - "Run examples/adspygoogle/adwords/v200909/get_unit_count.py, which will set up your Sandbox with five client accounts." This function does not exist with the version I have v201109_1 2) Online instructions - "To create a sandbox account, send a get<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/latest/CampaignService#get>request to the sandbox version of CampaignService" The example code get_campaings.py is supposed to do this however I get the error AuthenticationError.CUSTOMER_NOT_FOUND. As suggested on multiple forums I have tried reformatting my customer_id with no change. The code looks at the authentication information created when I ran the configuration script. But why is it looking for a customer_id when it is trying to create an account? I just want a sandbox account. The example codes run fine when I run them on our actual account, however I would like to use the sandbox to test code. -- =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~ Also find us on our blog and discussion group: http://adwordsapi.blogspot.com http://groups.google.com/group/adwords-api =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "AdWords API Forum" group.
