When U generate a report in adwords in v2011, a Id called " report definition Id " is generated in adwords so that no need to create always performance report ,If u get that Id from search engine so by passing this id to url:
https://adwords.google.com/api/adwords/reportdownload?__rd="your id here" wil get report at any time,these may decrease API calls. Hope u got some information.Further in detail can contact me .
