That will definitely help with API quota, but it won't help with missing columns.
I did some more experimenting, and it seems that VideoPlaybacks is not supported in v13 *unless* it is a cross-client report. Not sure why, but that makes me hopeful that if/when we get cross-client reporting in v201101, the Video columns will be supported. I'm still stuck on how to get my performance data though. v13 is being very unreliable for cross-client reports, and v201101 doesn't have the fields I need. I can try using smaller cross-client reports in v13, e.g. with only a handful of clients in each report, which seem to perform better. The trouble with that approach is, the newer Google client accounts do not have a login email, which is the only way to specify which accounts to include in a cross-client report for v13.
