Hi Arthur,

Regarding your questions:

1) Yes, I'll work with the documentation team to make this clearer.

2) Correct, although I believe the maximum is 2500 per request.

3) If you are developing a new application you should use the v201008
TrafficEstimatorService, which costs 15 per estimated keyword.
Estimates are always done on keywords, although campaign and ad group
contextual information can be added at no additional cost. The TES
always returns all estimated data, and the cost is always 15 per
keyword.

4) The sentence is trying to say that a TES request can only have 500
total keywords in it, regardless of how many campaign or ad group
contexts you use.

5) Yes, the AdGroupCriterionService can be used for this purpose. The
cost is 1 unit per keyword (Keyword extends Criterion). You can also
use reports to get this information, although not all fields are
available.

6) Same as #5, 1 unit per item returned.

I am not aware of any books on the API. Let us know if you have any
other questions.

Best,
- Eric Koleda, AdWords API Team
