I'm still seeing this problem - of the batch of accounts that I did report definitions/downloads for (see above code), all but one returned the error. The account that succeeded had a decent number of ads (2mb csv file), so tehre doesn't seem to be a correlation between the error and the size of the account.
This is the only way I can get the display network performance data at this granularity, so this is getting to be a serious problem. thanks!
