Users see my client's search-responsive ad, click "Get location details" (instead of the headline), and book an appointment with my client via the WhatsApp link on their Google My Business profile. It's a healthcare business, so the conversions that happen on the Google My Business profile don't show up on Google Ads. We only get a small number of clicks on this ad per day, but the clients that come from it bring us a lot of revenue.
I would like to upload lead conversions and converted lead conversions with revenue. The problem is that when I query the API to get the GCLIDs for a particular day with click_view, I mostly get a GCLID like this: Cj4KCQjwhMq-BhCFARItAGvo0Kf4pZTC53_w_7zS-0JxLEyGniXG3CJt-utSAOrzYM9rp1VrLl2NZR9xGgJPVxAC8P8HAQ I've uploaded a click conversion to Google Ads with this GCLID above with no errors with debug enabled, but the conversion doesn't count on the Google Ads UI. And I can't decode this GCLID with https://www.pemavor.com/solution/gclid-decoder/ to get the timestamp. Conversions with GCLIDs like this that come from a LOCATION_EXPANSION click I can upload without any problems and they count on Google Ads UI and I can decode them to get the timestamp: EAIaIQobChMIk-TUkLmHjAMV6FRIAB1KVQcPEAAYASABEgJ7JvD_BwE I would like to know if there is a way to upload a click conversion with the first GCLID type. I doubt it exists, but it's worth a try.
