Hello, I have just setup my google cloud console account, and enabled the Google Ads API from there, and have also added an api key. My goal is to give API access to a third party developer that is building an application for me which requires access to google keyword planner via an api. My understanding is that this api is the google ads api.
Now, although I have enabled the google ads api via the console and setup a key, I read instructions that I need to enable the api and manage access of this api via the google ads manager account. However, as soon as I enter my google ads manager account (given I have just setup a new google cloud console account), I am automatically asked to setup an ads campaign for my website - which is not my goal at all. I do not even have a website for this application (yet), and it won't let me do anything else until I setup the ad campaign. Can you please advise how my developer can integrate the google ads api in the application? I currently have my customer id from google cloud console, and the google ads api key I have setup in google cloud console.
