After reviewing your concern, I understand that you would like to know whether it is possible to fetch data of the Demand Gen campaigns via the Google Ads API. Kindly note that, you can fetch the data of Demand Gen campaigns with the campaign.advertising_channel_type set to "DISCOVERY" since they'll have the same advertising channel type as the Discovery campaigns. Both campaign types are almost the same and that's why there is a plan for automatic migration as you can see in the Help Center article. If you still have any concerns, please provide us with the complete API logs (request and response with request-id and request header) generated at your end and the uncropped UI screenshot (from Google Ads account) of the report that you are trying to fetch via the Google Ads API to assist you better. If you are using a client library and haven't enabled the logging yet, I would request you to enable logging for the specific client library that you are using. You can refer to the guides Java, .Net, PHP, Python, Ruby or Perl to enable logging at your end. For REST interface requests, you can enable logging via the curl command by using the -i flag.
