According to this blog post, beginning on August 2, 2023, we will start auto-migrating image and location extensions to assets. The auto-migration will end on September 30, 2023. Once the image and location extensions have been migrated to assets, you won’t be able to mutate the image and location extensions. For more information on location assets, kindly refer here: https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/assets/location-assets. If you're looking for an equivalent for the IDENTITY(false) matching function, then I'd like to inform you that Matching functions will not be available to asset-based extensions. During the automatic migration, the IDENTITY(false) is migrated as excluded_parent_asset_field_types. You can also refer to the excluded_parent_asset_set_types[] field, if LOCATION_SYNC is set for this field, all location group asset sets are not allowed to be linked to this campaign, and all Location Extension (LE) and Affiliate Location Extensions (ALE) will not be served under this campaign.
