As with other campaign types, you can use GoogleAdsService.SearchStream to retrieve attributes and performance metrics for Performance Max campaigns but kindly note that you should not select an AdGroup when querying Performance Max campaigns, as no campaigns will be returned. Do not also segment by AssetGroup as this is not permitted. You may check this documentation for more details. That said, you may not use the ad_group and ad_group_ad report for the Performance Max.
