Hi Federico, v201002 of the AdWords API is now publicly available as v201003. v201003 introduces a few new services, other than that the two versions are practically the same. For a detailed list of differences between the two versions, see http://code.google.com/apis/adwords/v2009/docs/releasenotes.html. If you are starting fresh, you can start with v201003 since it has new services which you may want to try out.
