Hi, Monthly search volume information is available, but isn't returned by default. To return extra information you must set the field "requestedAttributeTypes" on the TargetingIdeaSelector: http://code.google.com/apis/adwords/v2009/docs/reference/TargetingIdeaService.TargetingIdeaSelector.html#requestedAttributeTypes. There are a variety of attributes available: http://code.google.com/apis/adwords/v2009/docs/reference/TargetingIdeaService.AttributeType.html. I believe the attribute you are looking for is AVERAGE_TARGETED_MONTHLY_SEARCHES.
