Hello,
We don't publish any hard limits on the total number of keywords or
ad groups you can request in a specific report, and whether a report
is too big to generate is determined at run time by the backend
reports engine.
Reducing either the total number of ad groups/keywords (like you did)
or requesting a smaller date range is in general the way to work
around this type of error.
