Hi Tino, Thanks for your help. It's rather confusing at first but I believe that there are 2 kinds of negative functionality that are supported by the GUI. An example would best illustrate the differences. 1. If you put "computer" into the keyword tool, get the results and on the results page, change the dropdown to negative match, you get phrases as described in my first post (ie commonly used negative phrases for a search term) 2. if you put "computer" into the keyword tool and click on the filter options link, and put in some negative (for example "laptop"), and get the results, none of the results will contain "laptop". This functionality is available in the API as you indicated.
