We are currently experiencing intermittent issue as well to connect to the production version of the Adwords API :
[Google FATAL] [10/09/2008 10:42:33] Exception caught : ; nested exception is: java.net.UnknownHostException: adwords.google.com [Google FATAL] [10/09/2008 10:42:38] Exception caused by : adwords.google.com Even some simple name resolution has been failing so I guess the Adwords API server is experiencing some issues. Don't know if we can have a comment from the API guys.
