Hi Andy (& all) , I've found it. I removed all spaces from the installation target directory ( D:\Program Files -> D:\ProgramFiles ) for both the installation manager and TSM and now the installer doesn't fail.
The odd thing is, that this issue didn't arise when upgrading TSM on a win 2008 r2 server from 6.3.3 to 7.1.1.100. Anyway... another thing to worry about when I plan to upgrade my existing servers. > Op 28 apr. 2015, om 14:37 heeft Andrew Raibeck <[email protected]> het > volgende geschreven: > > Hi Remco, > > See if this is a match: > > http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg1IT03536 > > Best regards, > > - Andy > > ____________________________________________________________________________ > > Andrew Raibeck | Tivoli Storage Manager Level 3 Technical Lead | > [email protected] > > IBM Tivoli Storage Manager links: > Product support: > http://www.ibm.com/support/entry/portal/Overview/Software/Tivoli/Tivoli_Storage_Manager > > Online documentation: > http://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSGSG7/welcome > Product Wiki: > https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/community/wikis/home/wiki/Tivoli%20Storage%20Manager > > "ADSM: Dist Stor Manager" <[email protected]> wrote on 2015-04-28 > 07:41:46: > >> From: Remco Post <[email protected]> >> To: [email protected] >> Date: 2015-04-28 07:42 >> Subject: Re: TSM server 7.1.1 on windows 2012 r2 >> Sent by: "ADSM: Dist Stor Manager" <[email protected]> >> >>> Op 28 apr. 2015, om 13:25 heeft Remco Post <[email protected]> het >> volgende geschreven: >>> >>> Hi All, >>> >>> I'm trying to install TSM 7.1.1.0 as I downloaded it from PA on a >> fresh windows 2012r2 server using the GUI installer.
