Would it be: zypper -U gskcrypt64-8.0.14.11.linux.x86_64.rpm ?? Yes, but the vendor who installed the openSUSE on the box seems to think that openSUSE does not come with the glibc package. ??? -----Original Message----- From: ADSM: Dist Stor Manager [mailto:ADSM-L@VM.MARIST.EDU] On Behalf Of Erwann SIMON Sent: Friday, March 13, 2015 2:17 PM To: ADSM-L@VM.MARIST.EDU<mailto:ADSM-L@VM.MARIST.EDU> Subject: Re: [ADSM-L] Does TSM support openSUSE Hello, It is not stated in the "best effort support" technote but TSM Client should install and run on OpenSUSE as on a SLES/SLED : https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__www-2D01.ibm.com_support_docview.wss-3Fuid-3Dswg21417165&d=AwIFaQ&c=BY0WRPt8vrhqs_gNwjcMsqT0O3k78MJMGj95ah0eDEA&r=7l_gtgCLb17w6YLNyl5xk2NLH8XcWIQUFrWhANDp1mE&m=QLHubs9yveDfqABUwm4IkbiU5B9SLr-Il6skb6y4HTA&s=JKJNi6eN96cI52Qt-6-QYO7nAi5rXFfIIRbbDw4nVu0&e= You're simply missing somes dependancies : libc.so.6 and libpthread.so.0 should be provided py a package named glibc-2.xx Unfortunaltely, I' don't have any *SUSE distrib to confirm the package name. Have you tried to install the gsk* packages using zypper instead of rpm ? It should solve the missing dependancies. -- Best regards / Cordialement / مع تحياتي Erwann SIMON ----- Mail original ----- De: "Jeanne Bruno" <jbr...@cenhud.com<mailto:jbr...@cenhud.com<mailto:jbr...@cenhud.com%3cmailto:jbr...@cenhud.com>>> À: ADSM-L@VM.MARIST.EDU<mailto:ADSM-L@VM.MARIST.EDU<mailto:ADSM-L@VM.MARIST.EDU%3cmailto:ADSM-L@VM.MARIST.EDU>> Envoyé: Vendredi 13 Mars 2015 18:48:33 Objet: [ADSM-L] Does TSM support openSUSE Hello. I'm googling and on the IBM sites and I'm seeing TSM client 7.1.x supports: * SLES 11 (64 bit) * SLED 11 (64 bit) Anyone know if this includes 'openSUSE'?
