Hi guys! I have hardly used the archive command myself but one of my customers now tries to archive some data for 5 years. He specifies the -archmc= commandline parameter and all files are correctly bound to the 5 years management class. The directories however are bound to the default management class (14 days). I know about the dirmc parameter, but this can only be added to the option file, it's not a valid commandline parameter. How does this work? I don't want to include the dirmc in the option file because we only want the 5 year retention once for this specific archive... Thanks for your help in advance! Kind regards, Eric van Loon AF/KLM Storage Engineering
