Hi TSM-ers! In one of my virtual libraries I found 4 tapes which were unavailable. I updated them to read-only and issued a move data for them. This failed due to the following error:
04/22/2014 14:39:13 ANR8355E I/O error reading label for volume 020408 in drive TVTL_TLSP2_1_DR38 This looks like an unlabeled tape, but it's a private tape used in a primary storage pool! So I tried relabeling it with overwrite=yes: 04/22/2014 14:59:11 ANR8816E LABEL LIBVOLUME: Volume 020408 in library TVTL_TLSP2_1 cannot be labeled because it is currently defined in a storage pool or in the volume history file. Now what... I can't read the data on the tape since the label is corrupt and I can't relabel it because there is data on it! Thank you very much for your suggestions in advance!
