Hi TSM-ers! We are struggling with expiration performance and recovery log utilization for quite some time. I came across flash 21470662 (http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21470662) which contains almost all symptoms we see on our servers. To check the most obvious one (log utilization) I would like to exclude the systemstate on all Windows 2008 clients all at once. The easiest option is to do this through a client option set, but I'm not really familiar with them. I defined the flowing one:
Optionset: WINDOWS2008_EXCL_SYSTEMSTATE Description: Excludes the systemstate backup on Windows 2008 clients Last Update by (administrator): KLM35757 Managing profile: Option: INCLEXCL Sequence number: 0 Use Option Set Value (FORCE): Yes Option Value: -systemstate Will this one work? Thank you very much for your help in advance!
