Hi Zoltan, Try to move data frol a volume within the storage pool, so without specifying the destination. Be sure to choose a volume with pct_util.
Cached data remain after cache has been desactivated until they are overwritten by new backups. You can also make them disappear by doing a "fake" move data. -- Best regards / Cordialement / مع تحياتي Erwann SIMON -----Original Message----- From: Zoltan Forray/AC/VCU <[email protected]> Sender: "ADSM: Dist Stor Manager" <[email protected]> Date: Thu, 3 May 2012 13:37:12 To: <[email protected]> Reply-To: "ADSM: Dist Stor Manager" <[email protected]> Subject: [ADSM-L] Pct Migr=0.0, Caching=No but there is data in the disk stgpool I have a very odd situation on my new Linux 6.2.3.100 server/disk pool, as described in the subject. Trying to MIG STGPOOL says "nothing to migrate" yet doing a BACKUP STGPOOL is running and backing up. I did an audit on one of the disk volumes and it said "yup - there is something in there and it is OK/no problems". As you can see, caching is NOT turned on (never have used that feature - usually too much traffic flowing through to make it of any value).....and what is with the "Pct Logical" is 100%? This is a server I upgraded from 5.5. The disk pools were recreated from scratch so it's not like there was anything left behind......
