Only way is to backup the database and do a restore later onto the new server (and transfer the toc and stgpool volumes) This server is also the library manager, so you will need a dedicated library when you rebuild it.
I performed a "surgery" once where I separated the normal client node data from the library manager functions and NDMP data in this way. Just duplicate, then rename the instance, then delete everything you don't want. They are running today TSM 6.2.3.0 on Windows and the NDMP data are NetApp Dumps based on 8.0.1 and 7.3.5.1 My question is, has anyone successfully been exporting and importing NDMP from one TSM Server to another TSM server?
