Hi Jerome, What commands are you using in order in order to checkin or checkin tape from/to the I/O station ? Aren't there any outstanding requests ? See Q REQ command. Are there any relevant TSM messages produced in the activity log while you're trying to checkin/checkout ?
Note that you have to assign the tapes to a logical library when they're inserted in the I/O station of the TS3310.
