Hi, ...bell rings, yes. The certain case is, when the databaseID has changed in the RMAN. When and why that happens you should ask your local DBA. All files that have been created with the old DB-ID are not referenced any more from RMAN and therefore are not deleted by RMAN. By the way, it seems that you have to clean it up now. In that case TDPOSYNC etc. does not work as it does not list the old backups :) Best way is to define a new TSM-node for the affected DB's and let the old filespace (active data) expire. Deleting items inside TSM with the (not supported) delete command is not a good way to clean up the mess.
