The posting doesn't specify which TDP, which would help understanding.
Be aware that copy group policies are not associated with nodes - they are
associated with conveyed files, and only where the management class which
incorporates the copy group is specified such that backed up files are bound
with it, as outlined in the TDP manual. Have you verified what management
class your backed up files are using? Are the backups instead being bound to
the default management class?
