Hi Dave, My problem is shrinking. I did not experience performance issues or unexpected db growth so far and I know now, that 6.2.3.0 will address some reorg enhancements (Thanks to Joerg Pohlmann). To be honest, I don't know the difference between table and index reorg so far as I have less experience with DB2 (just what I need to know for TSM). The goal is to reduce the size of my db, as I'm sure it could shrink because of deleting serveral filespaces (yesterday nealy 10%). If I have a look at my db history graph, db never decreased ( could send you a jpg)

There are currently several APARs against the DB2 V9.7 that will not allow the DB to be reduced when reorgs occur. These will be addressed in a future service level of TSM and DB2. If you have questions about enabling index reorgs, you should contact TSM support for assistance. There are several things to be aware of before index reorgs are enabled, so PLEASE contact them first. Also, if you'd like we could arrange a call here to discuss this further.
