It has significant limitations, particularly in that it can only support a limited number of reports, the ability to customize is limited and it presents a server-by-server view of things. For quite a while I have been toying with replacements, most of which have been dead ends. Eventually I have settled upon BIRT as a reporting engine, and believe this has some merit. I knocked together a basic but still impressive Client Schedule report with just a couple of hours effort having never used the tool before. I can't justify developing this in company time, but I am very keen to continue so I am starting an open-source project to take this further.
