Hi James: The 6.2 release to the TSM Administration Center moved to the Tivoli Integrated Portal (TIP) as its framework. TIP has other component deployers that require that TIP be installed as non-root. If you are not planning to use TIP with any other products, you can install as root.

As I was preparing to install the admin center as root, I received a warning that admin center should be installed under a different user id. I could not find reference to this in any of the documentation on installing the AC. Is this warning just a suggestion, or is it something to be followed?
