Hi all, Our TSM server runs on AIX and backs up 100+ window server(client nodes).
These clients have different drives configured (depending on the servers functionality) and we need to back them up accordingly. Incremental backups are scheduled to run daily by attaching 10 nodes to a 'Schedule'. So we have 10 odd schedules configured to run daily. The Manager picks up the information from the client node's "opt" file and backs up the drive's mentioned in it. Additionally, Archive backup of the same drives are scheduled to run on a monthly basis. But the Drive to be backed up in this case is mentioned in the "Schedule" itself. Problem: We have come across several instances where the drives mentinoed in the 'Opt' file at the client side for incremental backups are not mentioned in the 'Schedule' for Archive backup at the Manager side and vice versa. I have basic understanding of TSM. I need to put the schedules in order. Is it possible to instruct the TSM Schedule to back up drives mentioned in the opt file for both Archive and Incremental backup.
