I'm having some surprising things happen when doing an EXPORT NODE directly to another server, on a node that has a CLOPTSET defined. Both servers are TSM 5.5 on AIX.
I exported a node from one server to another, which has a cloptset defined, and the cloptset exists on both source and target servers. I exported with REPLACEDEFS=NO (the default), yet QUERY PROCESS shows: ANR1358I Export Identifier: ROGER1 ANR0648I Have copied the following: 1 Optionsets 1 Nodes 3 Filespaces 18402 Backup Files 5562788 Bytes (0 errors have been detected) ...so it appears that it copied the cloptset, replacing the existing one of the same name that was already on the target server. I hope they were identical before the export, because it appears they are now! How can I guard against this? It appears that REPLACEDEFS=NO is ineffective for cloptsets.
