Hi, 1) I recommend that you look in the Redbook for TDP Exchange http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/redbooks/SG246147.html
But you need to modify the shortcut(icon) and add /excserver=Clustername. For the other issue you probably need to give us more information. A good start is to run "type excfull.cmd" and give us the output. I have a TSM Client V5.5.1 - TDP Exchange V5.5.1.0 - running on Windows 2008 64 bit (Exchange 2007-Cluster). I had 2 problems here: 1). I can't open the TDP Exch GUI by double click it, or execute tdpexc from command prompt, with Error message ACN5705W An error was encountered with Tivoli Storage Manager API initialization, rc=106, this happened if I logon as domain administrator. But if i logon as local administrator, the TDP GUI can open (although couldn't connect to Exchange server). I have already check all the permission, and seems nothing wrong with that, the domain administrator had already member of local administrator So what i do is create a shortcut on the desktop (with additional option /excserver=exc_name), then i run it with right click on the icon, then "Run as Adminstrator", and it can run. 2). I create a script "excfull.cmd", but when i try to execute it from command prompt, it said like this: C:\>excfull.cmd C:\> #@ '#@' is not recognize as aninternal or external command, operable program or batch file. *Note, the # mark actually is a small block box.
