Hi Joerg, You shouldn't have any problems using the 5.5.2.0 upgrade utilities to upgrade a server at 5.5.2.1. When we put that statement in the book, we were mostly worried about database schema changes that might be implemented in 5.5.3.0 and beyond. There are no schema changes between 5.5.2.0 and 5.5.2.1 and so you should be OK to go ahead with your upgrade.
