I agree. I want my TSM DB backup on the MOST RELIABLE MEDIA/DEVICE I CAN GET. If you EVER need that DB backup tape, it's because you are already in deep do-do, and in a hurry to fix it. The last thing you'll want to deal with is the risk of encountering an I/O error on a DB restore...
