Richard, Thanks. It turns out that while the frantic e-mail about no documentation on the IBM site was being produced, followed by an even more frantic phone call, the appropriate Technote was in front of her. It would be nice if such things were incorporated into the regular documentation.

Fred - IBM Technotes 1083501 and 1223228 document the restoral destination being only the location from which TSM backed up the event log components - which varies by the class of the Windows OS.
