TSM has made a major change for the exporting the node between servers in version 5.5, where you restart the export node process that was suspended because or error. I think in your case mergefilespace=yes option will work so, the data doesn't get duplicated, but the entire process will start from the beginning (unfortunately).

You can use mergefilespace option also so it will not duplicate. Also issue following command on the source server ' q export ' to see the status of the export. -----Original Message----- From: ADSM: Dist Stor Manager [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Ochs, Duane Sent: Thursday, July 03, 2008 10:17 AM To: ADSM-L@VM.MARIST.EDU Subject: [ADSM-L] EXPORT node toserver I ran an export node toserver and it errored 1/3 of the way into 200gb of data. Are there any steps that need to be taken in order to restart this other than mergefilespace ? Will any of my archive data be duplicated on the target server ?
