Hi Sung,

Expiring inventory by node seems to be one goal fro the next TSM release, see this presentation from Dave Cannon :
http://tsm-symposium.oucs.ox.ac.uk/2007/papers/Dave%20Cannon%20-%20Preview%20of%20Future%20Enhancements.pdf

By now, it can be done with undocumented options of the expire inventory command, on advide from support. You'll find some tricks about that here :
http://www.lascon.co.uk/d005303.htm#m36
http://tsmwiki.com/tsmwiki/ExpireInventory

BE REALLY CAREFULL using CREATE SQLT command !

Just a question, why do you want to expire nodes on an alphabetical order rather than on a tsm decided order ?

When expire inventory runs.. in what order is expiration processed? I
would thought it would be in alphabetical order, but it does appear to be
after closer examination. I wish we can expire inventory by the node
name. That would be cool.

Thanks,
