Regards, Rama -----Original Message----- From: ADSM: Dist Stor Manager [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Jeff White Sent: Wednesday, May 21, 2008 9:19 AM To: ADSM-L@VM.MARIST.EDU Subject: [ADSM-L] CHECKIN problom Hi TSM Server v5.4.0.0 TS3500 tape library, SCSI attached LTO3 tapes Hi I have a problem running the CHECKIN command. My TS3500 tape library has approx 700 slots across two frames. A number of tapes have been returned because at last i have managed to get approval to expire data more aggressively than previously. So, i load in approx 120 tapes into the entry port and i can see all of the tapes are loaded into slots in the library. Frame A is full and Frame B is now being used. From the library display, i can see all of those tapes in IMPORT status. >From the library web display, my TSM logical library has a max carts value of 400 of which 229 are used. When i run 'CHECKIN LIBVOL lib-name SEARCH=YES STATUS=SCRATCH CHECKL=B' i got 36 tapes loaded and then received the following message: ANR8382W Library CO3500 is now full Subsequent CHECKIN commands simply show the ANR8382W message above. I know the tapes are in there and the library display shows them. I have performed a library inventory (from the TS3500) but this has had no effect. A 'Q LIBR libr F=D' command does'nt show anything that indicated a limit on the number of tapes it can have in the library. Any thoughts appreciated Jeff White ************************************************************************ **** Woolworths plc Registered Office: 242 Marylebone Road, London NW1 6JL Registered in England, Number 104206 This e-mail is only intended for the person(s) to whom it is addressed and may contain confidential information.
