dear all, we're running AFS and do the backup with BUTA :-)
actually the BUTA-"node" is collocated, so the backup and migration is done by just one process, which causes large duration. how can I speed up? my guess is to define an extra BUTA disc / tape pool where only the BUTA node is backuped within. so my question: if I switch off collocation, are the multiple filespaces (actually about 2800) backuped to different tapes parallely? thanks, Bjørn -- ######################################################################## Dipl.-Ing.
