Hi all We have just installed the TDP for exchange to cover our soon-to-be-going-live Exchange 2007 environment and I'm now being asked the question "Can we do mailbox level restores?!"
Now, as far as I'm aware the simple answer is no, and that in order to do this we would need to utilise a 3rd party tool (OnTrack Powertools for example). And yet apparently within products like BACKUP-EXEC (which i have no knowledge of), it's all built into the latest version. Now from what I can gather, BACKUPEXEC only costs about £600! So, what am I missing here? Why is it that enterprise level products like TSM and NETBACKUP do not (currently) provide the same functionality? Also, does anyone know when this is going to be integrated into TSM?
