Oracle TDP uses a virtual filesyatem name called /adsm-rman. You will see it on the server if you do a q occ on the node in question. To check the TDP files TSM has, on the client run the following command :
dsmc q backup "/adsm-rman/*/df*" >/tmp/tdp_check.out The data files all have df in the name. I am assuming you are on AIX or Linux. If on Windows , redirect the files to a file using the same redirect : dsmc q backup "/adsm-rman/*/df*" > c:\tdp_check.out Rich -----Original Message----- From: ADSM: Dist Stor Manager [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Nicholas Rodolfich Sent: Thursday, September 20, 2007 12:21 PM To: ADSM-L@VM.MARIST.EDU Subject: [ADSM-L] How to view Oracle TDP files from TSM server Hello All, Thanks for your help!! Is there a way to verify or list of particular files from Oracle TDP backups on the server. I am caught in a chasm in DBA land. I don't fully understand the TDP and the DBA doesn't understand TSM or the TDP. Does anyone know any tricks or how I can find out more information than just the standard q occ?
