Hi All, we have tsm-server 5.3.4.0 on solaris with 3494 and 3592/3592e drives . The mail-Client is a mail-server with TSMClient 5.3.4.6/5.4.1.0 -- solaris10_x86
Since the new tsm-Client(5.4.1.0) is installed on our mail-server the incremental backup takes about +50% and more of the 'Total elapsed time' than before. I have loked at all side-effects but the +50%-relation running at same conditions is quite insistent. So I have stay with TSM5.3.4.6 and do the downgrade again. My question: anyone seen the same problem ? Is it possibly a known problem ? Often such performance-issues are common to all platforms so maybe someone experiences this on other platforms as well ? Thanks for any hints in advance !
