Usually a routine procedure, but this time I am having major difficulties. Whenever I try to redefine the path for this particular drive I get the following error: ANR8972E DEFINE PATH: Unable to find the element number for drive DRIVE3 in library 3584LIB I have been talking with both TSM software support, and hardware support, and still not much luck. The drive is being detected by the server properly, and the library detects the drive fine as well. We have tried two different drives as well. I did notice the library specialist does report a different serial number than the library itself reports though.. The server is Windows 2000. Has anyone seen this before? Any ideas???
